Christmas Revel

Social hour:  6:30 to 7pm
Eat:  about 7:15pm (or when almost everyone is there)
Contact the Shire of Narrental if interested in being a performer.
Pitch-in dinner  (in garb) with each shire providing the main meats (a ham and a turkey)

Wabash HerbFest Demo

This is a mundane HerbFest, but we will have a booth with Medieval cooking utensils, sample cookbooks,
and some herbs commonly used in the Middle Ages.  We hope to have a cookbook of our own to
sell, with recipes used by Lady Elayne and I in the past.  We also hope to have some
common Medieval herbs to sell, too.

Business Meetings

The business meetings are at 7:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month at the Peru Public Library (Sept through May); we meet at the Logansport Public Library, June through August.  Official Shire business is usually conducted in the first half or so of the meeting, which includes any event announcements to be made, ideas to be exchanged, and fun to be had!  The second half of the meeting is usually more free-spirited and less structured.

A & S Meetings

The A&S sessions are often held on the 3rd Wed. of each month (sometimes on Sundays, too), excluding August and December.  The topics have yet to be determined... so, we are open to any suggestions!!!  Anyone interested should contact the Shire's MoAS, Lady Elayne de Belemé (contact her by clicking here)

Sewing/Research  

You can do sewing and/or researching of just about any subject on any Tuesday night from 7 p.m. at Meisterin Katarina's house, Einhorn Manor -- this includes learning how to sew, if needed.  But, please either call (765-472-7217) or e-mail ahead of time, to see if there are any schedule changes.

Bookbinding

Bookbinding instruction and research is offered every Sunday afternoon from 2 pm to around 4 pm at Meisterin Katarina's house, Einhorn Manor.

You can learn calligraphy and/or illumination, or to make SCA scrolls 2nd and 4th (and 5th if the month has one) Wednesday night from 6:30 pm to 9pm at Meisterin Katarina's house, Einhorn Manor.  But, please either call (765-472-7217) or e-mail ahead of time, to see if there are any schedule changes.
